The common side-effects you may experience after taking Zopiclone are a bitter taste, sleepiness, and fatigue. Adverse effects are rare but possible. To avoid the metallic taste, drink lots of water. Keep a bottle of water near you. Make sure you take the pills early at night, i.e. an hour before going to bed. Avoid the pill if you are pregnant or have kidney and liver problems. Similarly, breastfeeding mothers must avoid the tablet unless recommended by a certified physician. Zopiclone can interact with other drugs. So, if you are already on some medication, talk to your doctor about the consumption of this sleeping pill. Some medicines can increase the effects of Zopiclone. If that happens, you will wake up feeling extremely fatigued and drowsy. As long as you are taking the necessary precautions, Zopiclone is safe. The pill is known for its sedating effects. It must not be combined with other tablets that have the same effects. Note that the medicine takes one hour to show the effects.
